The Knights Armament SR-47
The SR-47 is a modern assault rifle based on the AR-15 family of rifles created by Knight’s Armament Company. Produced to fulfill special forces objectives occurring behind enemy lines, it permitted operators to use AK mags and ammo they may find in hostile territory. The legend of the SR-47 grew and grew, airsoft versions were rare, a kit was produced by HurricanE in the mid 2000’s as well as now the kit is worth a fortune, however for a long time an SR-47 in airsoft type was a bit of a “unicorn” gun, talked about in hushed whispers.
