CRKT Avant™
Simple to transport. created for graft.
An expert can tell right away just looking at a knife that it was made by a specialist. The telltale sign is simplicity.
The Avant EDC folding knife competes for first place in the market with its clean lines, subtle bronze touches, and extremely ergonomic structure.
Eric Ochs enjoys viewing his Oregon backyard when he isn’t creating. He has scaled a few volcanic mountains in the Pacific Northwest and has channelled the strength of his fortitude into his laborious designs. The flipper opening and the swift, smooth IKBS, which uses lubricated ball bearings in the pivot to rapidly deploy the blade.
Once it is deployed, the locking liner gives a robust layer of protection without compromising the simplicity of one-handed closing. It is designed with a thumb disc for a more deliberate, manual opening. The utilitarian spear point blade with a satin finish flourishes from the front country to the back, and the woven carbon fibre handles are small and stable in the hand. To finish the appearance, Ochs added a bronze pocket clip and pivot detail, scoring major style points.
The CRKT Avant combines elegance with utility.
