CRKT S.P.I.T.™ (Small. Pocket. Inverted. Tanto.)
A decent knife doesn’t have to be difficult to use.
The popular CRKT S.P.E.W. (Small. Pocket. Everyday. Wharncliffe), developed by Alan Folts of Melbourne, Florida, is the inspiration for the CRKT S.P.I.T. (Small. Pocket. Inverted. Tanto).
The S.P.I.T. has improved mobility thanks to a shorter fixed blade than its relative, but it retains the larger handle for greater cutting force. The S.P.I.T, which has a needle-sharp tip, makes use of what Inverse Tanto blades excel at: slicing, piercing, and fine detail work.
Due to its high-carbon steel construction, the 2.3-inch blade is simple to sharpen and has a duotone satin and stone wash finish that commands attention. The G10 handle’s vivid orange colour provides a secure grip and makes it easy to find the knife in your toolbox, gear bag, or other storage location.
It’s a minimal knife with maximalist usage, to put it briefly.
