G&G Airsoft Rifle G960 SV Spring Bolt Action Sniper
There are many airsoft bolt action sniper rifles available on the market at the moment, some are fantastic but require an extensive amount of upgrades & money to make them effective. Other companies have flooded the scene with inferior clones that last for 5 seconds before they inevitably break. There hasn’t been a single airsoft company that have managed to offer a high performance rifle that is solidly built, offers excellent performance and won’t break the bank. That was until G&G unleashed the SSR G96 bolt action sniper rifle.
The G96 is based on a well known British made sniper rifle that has a proven track record of excellence and is used by many different military and law enforcement agencies around the world. Its rugged yet ergonomic design is functional and comfortable to operate even in the most extreme conditions.
The G96’s stock is manufactured from reinforced polymer which is strong enough to withstand some rough skirmishing but doesn’t make the gun unusably heavy. The polymer finish looks fantastic with a lightly textured surface and a dull black finish. Most of the other parts are composed of steel & zinc to increase durability over the weapons lifespan. All of the metal components are finished to a very high standard as you’d expect from G&G.
External features of this gun include metal sling mounts, a fixed bipod pin, a selector bar and a rubberised butt stock. The metal RIS rail is large enough to accommodate most types of optics. G&G offer two types of G96, the standard model and the high powered version. The standard G96 clocks in at around 400fps so it’s usable for most sites in the country. The second G96, the high power, does exactly what it says on the tin. Clocking in at around 530fps it is an absolute beast. The power for both versions is derived from a sealed bolt system and the high powered bolt is available separately which is perfect for players who go to different sites with different fps limits.
The quality of the internals is what really sets this gun apart from similarly priced bolt action rifles. The high quality components can easily handle the massive power of the rifle and sustain its impressive performance. The G96 can easily outrange most AEG’s so the user can operate at a distance acceptable for sniping. So there we have it, a sniper rifle that’s ready to outperform straight from the box.
