G&G GKMS AK Carbine Airsoft AEG Rifle
This is a visually stunning AK platform from G&G. The wood effect is one of the best we have ever seen and the full steel construction means that this is as tough as they come. Made from steel and sheet steel, the GKMS replica with real wood handguard is in 1/1 scale from G & G Armament. The GKMS is made from parts of the AKMS and the AKS-74U.
Unlike other replicas in the airsoft market, the G & G Armament GKMS replica features the complete front system made of sturdy steel. Starting with the height-adjustable front sight, the one-piece outer race or the remaining parts on the front set – all parts are precisely made of steel or sheet steel. Of course, this also includes the typical AKS-74U Flash Hider, which is also used in the GKMS . Only the 6.04mm inner race is made of aluminum. Made-to-order wood is the most detailed handguard that looks similar to the original. All parts are G & G typically made especially precise fit and sit precisely on the respective modules.
Particularly sturdy and equipped with all the details is the steel housing embossed main body. All details of the original GKMS have been reproduced particularly accurately. The top cover can be opened as in the original and is also made of sheet steel. On the cover is the double-adjustable sight made of sturdy steel. On the side of the main housing, the typical target mounting rail is already installed ex works, which makes mounting a target device much easier. The fire selector or safety lever is mounted on the right side of the housing as in the original. Under the lever is the adjustable hop-up System made of aluminum.
At the back of the rifle the typical GKMS stock is mounted. This can be folded in or out like the original. As with the real GKMS , the stock is made of stamped steel and is therefore very stable.
If the housing cover is removed, the installed version III metal gearbox can be inspected. The robust steel torque-up gears, which run on 8mm ball bearings, ensure a perfect function here. The Piston is also a stable variant with metal teeth. To ensure that the current arrives at the motor without much resistance, all cables are silver cables. The engine ensures reliable operation with its powerful torque. Thanks to the newly designed Piston and Cylinderhead, the pressure loss is kept as low as possible, enabling a shot output of up to 1.2 joules.
