On the rear of the cover is a Velcro closure pocket. This is designed to take either counter weighs to balance out the weight when helmet is fitted with NVG’s, or take a battery pack. Made from rip-stop water resistant multicam material – Ripstop fabrics are woven fabrics often made out of nylon, using a special reinforcing technique that makes them resistant to tearing and ripping.
Velcro attachment points on the sides and top of the cover for the placement of flags, IR patches, IR strobes or Blood Group patches.
Goggles can be secured to the cover via the press stud fasteners at the rear and be also lifting up the rear pocket that is sewn at the op seam and Velcro at the base.
