Maruyama SCW-9 PRO-G Gas Blowback SMG Black

Maruyama Japan brings you this fantastically well built and designed replica SWC-9 based on the Glock compatible variant of the B&T APC-9K, the US Army’s recently adopted PDW/SMG, the version that utilises Glock magazines. This tiny beast is extremely well constructed. The whole upper receiver and handguard are constructed from CNC-machined aluminium and have a lovely anodized finish. The internals are made of steel and aluminium as well. Heavy durable nylon reinforced polymer is used in the construction of the bottom. It has an ambidextrous button, a metal rapid deploy three-position stock, an ambidextrous bolt catch, a safety/fire selector, a magazine release, and a non-reciprocating charging handle. There is a 20mm rail running the length of the gun’s top that can be used to attach optics. There are also 20mm rail sections around the handguard at the 3, 6, and 9 positions that can be used to add grips, lights, lasers, and other accessories. On the bottom of the weapon, between the handguard and the magwell, is where the hop-up adjustment is placed. Everything comes apart like the genuine APC9K.

A power up tri-lug suppressor that incorporates an inner barrel extension to enhance FPS and Range is included with the weapon. In order to guarantee that the weapons are shooting under the UK limitations on green gas with the suppressors fitted, Maruyama has placed air restrictors into the nozzle before they leave the factory. This is ideal for CQB as it is. We tested several various configurations and gas mixtures, and we discovered that they will typically deliver 340 FPS on Abbey 144a maintenance gas with the suppressor engaged. Therefore, we advise removing the restrictor and using 144a gas if you intend to use the suppressor to expand the inner barrel. Remove the nozzle restrictor, and the suppressor will fire green gas at about 320 FPS if you want to remove the inner barrel extension to add a tracer unit.

The thing absolutely rips. It’s snappy and responsive, even on 144a gas and will empty a 50 round VFC Glock magazine in a matter of seconds. On that note, to our knowledge so far it only runs with the VFC Glock magazines. But we will test some others and update our findings here.
