The Alcyone folding knife from Spyderco was created with the intention of shining above its competition, just like its namesake, a dazzling multiple star system in the constellation of Taurus.

It boldly displays US-made blade steel and all the high-performance features that make Spyderco knives distinctive, all in a knife that is reasonably priced.

The full-flat-ground blade of the Alcyone is its heart; it is expertly machined from stainless steel CTS® BD1 produced in America. A long, capable PlainEdgeTM working edge and a fully accessible Trademark Round HoleTM are both features of its leaf-shaped profile that allow for quick, ambidextrous, one-handed opening.

An exquisite, ergonomic handle with fully skeletonized stainless steel liners and an open-backed construction style houses the blade. These characteristics lighten the knife’s overall weight and make cleaning it easier while giving the sturdy LinerLock mechanism a solid foundation.

To guarantee a safe, pleasant grip, the liners are sandwiched between robust grey G-10 scales with a special non-slip checkered pattern.

A strong four-position pocket clip that accommodates left or right-side, tip-up or tip-down carry is also located on the handle. It is supported by a sizable lined lanyard hole that makes it simple to attach fobs and lanyards.
