Spyderco Delica 4 Lightweight Thin Red Line
Spyderco’s ‘Thin Red Line’ knives are unusual renditions of the workhorse lightweight models and were designed as a tribute to the valiant US firemen.
Their distinctive handle design, which has black fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle scales highlighted by a vivid red lining and a matching red backspacer, is what makes them stand out. The “thin red line” that first responders stand for between the order of our regular lives and the chaos of life-threatening catastrophes is symbolised by this colour scheme.
This Delica 4 Lightweight’s VG-10 blade blends a full-flat grind for improved edge geometry with Spyderco serrations for fierce cutting ability. Every blade is proudly laser engraved with the phrase “Save and Serve” to honour the selfless contribution of first responders.
The regular version’s durable rear lock mechanism, skeletonized stainless steel liners, four-position pocket clip, and bi-directional texturing are among the additional features of these premium knives.
Spyderco will donate a portion of all sales of “Thin Red Line” knives to the Wildland Firefighter Foundation, which provides immediate financial and ongoing emotional support, advocacy, and recognition to fallen and injured wildland firefighters and their families.
