Spyderco Subvert™ Carbon Fibre CPM 20CV Sprint Run™
The Subvert, created by Israeli jeweller and bespoke knifemaker Nati Amor, faithfully transforms his handcrafted “Sabotage” folder into a manufacturing knife of the highest calibre. By producing its strikingly designed, fully flat-ground blade in CPM 20CV, this honoured Sprint Run expression of it improves the design even further.
The highest amount of vanadium carbides and the most chromium of any vanadium-rich stainless steel now on the market are both present in this extremely wear-resistant, powder metallurgy stainless steel, which gives it a remarkable combination of edge retention, corrosion resistance, and toughness.
The finely curved scales of this knife, which were precisely machined from solid carbon fibre, are equally remarkable.
All other characteristics, such as ball-bearing pivot washers, thick, skeletonized titanium liners, a sturdy LinerLock mechanism, and a unique pocket clip designed for right-side, tip-up carry, are identical to those of the knife’s traditional design.
