Simple, fast, effective—the VMX-3T Magnifier will work with any Vortex red dot but it is not recommended for use with the Vortex Spitfire prism scopes.
The push-button design of the VMX-3T engages and disengages the flip-mount, allowing the magnifier to lock in place.

Mount height options
With the included flip mount and shim, there are two options for mounting the VMX-3T:
Absolute Co-Witness Height with Flip Mount
Lower 1/3 Co-Witness Height with Flip Mount and Shim Plate Positions the VMX-3T at 37 mm from the base surface to the center of the optic. This puts the dot height at a center absolute) sight picture when co-witnessed with standard AR-15 iron sights. For this height, do not install the included shim plate.
Positions the VMX-3T at 40 mm from the base surface to the center of the optic. This puts the dot height at a lower 1/3 sight picture when co-witnessed with standard AR-15 iron sights. For this height, install the included shim plate between the VMX-3T and the Flip Mount.

All Vortex Optics products comes with Vortex’s VIP unlimited lifetime warranty, which means if the sight gets damaged or becomes defective they will repair or replace the optic free of charge.
Please note: We still advise that you use a lens protector with your Vortex Optic – even though they come with a lifetime warranty they are not bulletproof and it will save you the hassle of an RMA return if it was to be shot out!
